Hammam is a wonderful relaxing and regenerating care ritual that improves physical condition, strengthens the immune system, and also improves the mood. It is a natural way to reduce everyday stress and regain balance. It takes place in a beautiful interior and in a unique oriental atmosphere, which gives it an extraordinary charm.

In the Middle East, the traditional hammam has been practiced since ancient times. Thanks to its numerous pro-health benefits, this ritual has entered the Western world with all its benefits, and modern medical and scientific research has brought us full awareness of its beneficial effects.

WHAT DOES THE HAMMAM RITUAL LOOK LIKE?

Each hammam ritual consists of 4 stages. We start with a short stay in the steam bath, where for several minutes your skin heats up and becomes soft. You relax, take off the first tensions of the day.

After a cool shower, we will invite you to the Hammam Room. In the centre of the hammam there is a heated stone bed, on which your whole body will relax and gain the right temperature. On this bed, the hammam masseur performs the next stages of the ceremony:

Pleasant dowsing with warm water

A Thorough deep peeling

Washing and cleansing the skin

A relaxing massage

After the ceremony, you will rest in the Relaxation Room with a glass of Turkish tea and the traditional delicacy lokum.

Everyone who has tried this magical treatment comes out as light as a cloud, healthier and relaxed.

  • AMBER HAMMAM

    This unique ritual is a combination of traditional Turkish hammam and amber therapy. So first we will cleanse your body by performing a special peeling with the use of a special Kessa glove.

    The next stage is an incredibly relaxing massage in a bubble of soap foam, and the feeling of extraordinary relaxation will be complemented by pouring warm water. After drying the body, we will perform a relaxing massage with the wonderful amber oil and healing amber tincture.

    Everything takes place in the midst of healing amber incense and calming sounds of music. Finally, we will put pouches of warm amber on your back so that its energizing properties will give you vitality. Of course, the ceremony ends with comfortable chaise lounges in the Relaxation Room with a glass of Turkish tea and a delicacy.

    *** We emphasize that the treatments take place on heated stone tables which, by giving back heat, have a therapeutic effect on the body. For comfort, place soft pads under the head, thighs and feet and a towel under the back and abdomen.

  • TRADITIONAL TURKISH HAMMAM

    In the first part of the hammam ritual, with the help of special Kessa webbing gloves, dead skin is removed from the whole body (literally from every nook and cranny). You can also choose a facial cleansing treatment and hair washing.

    After wiping off the top layer of the epidermis, we cover you with a soft soap foam quilt and perform a gentle massage that thoroughly cleans your body. This is an extremely pleasant stage of the ritual.

    Then we wash your body with warm water, and after drying, we perform a massage using natural oils, mainly argan oil.

    After leaving the Hammam Room, you sit in the Relaxation Room, where we will serve you water and a glass of Turkish tea with the traditional delicacy of the place. You rest for a long time in the company of quiet music.

  • TRADITIONAL MOROCCAN HAMMAM

    In this ritual, we first rub your body with a special black soap that has both cleansing and healing effects on the skin. Then, with the help of the Kessa glove, we will perform a thorough body scrub and clean it thoroughly, pouring warm water over you.

    After cleaning it, we will put a layer of Rhassoul clay on your body and let you indulge in its miraculous properties for a while. Then we will cleanse your skin and move on to the next stage – full body massage with the use of fantastic argan oil.

    When the massage is over, we will invite you to the Relaxation Room for a glass of delicious tea and a sweet treat.

  • What is the Rhassoul Clay?

    Rhassoul is a natural, pure volcanic clay. It comes from Moroccan deposits located in the Moulouya Valley, on the edge of the Middle Atlas – the only deposit in the world.

    Rhassoul clay has excellent cleansing properties – it absorbs excess sebum, gently removes dead epidermis and does not affect the skin’s hydro-lipid layer.

    It was valued even in antiquity in Moroccan hammam rituals for cleaning the body. Due to its tendency to foam, it replaced body and hair cleansers. Rhassoul is 100% natural – it does not contain any chemicals or fragrances. Due to that, it’s hypoallergenic and extremely delicate. As a result, it can be used for the care of sensitive, shallow vascular and allergy-prone skin. Clay can also help fight acne.

Hammam treatments are suitable for both young and older people, and a stay in a steam bath has scientifically and empirically proven properties to improve health and beauty.
    • It improves the color, firmness and elasticity of the skin, prevents hair loss;

    • Reduces cellulite;

    • It helps in losing weight by increasing the metabolic rate;

    • Increases collagen production (the heat of the hammam reduces the symptoms of contraction of connective tissue and increases its elasticity);

    • Inhalation of aromatic natural oils and soaps has a relaxing effect on the body;

    • It keeps the skin fresh and shiny. The heat stimulates blood flow and cleanses the skin, opening the pores and removing dead skin, making our skin smooth and nourished;

    • It is beneficial for people who suffer from sleep disorders and dry skin, as well as those who are sensitive to sudden changes in temperature;

    • It soothes neurological pain, reduces swelling and pain in joints;

    • Eliminates toxins and dead cells by sweating;

    • Supports the body in the fight against allergies;

  • When is it not recommended to use a hammam?

    Generally, there aren’t many contraindications. However, heat plays an important role in the ritual. Therefore, we do not recommend using the hammam if:

    • you have serious heart problems
    • you have too low or too high blood pressure
    • you are right after a meal (preferably wait 2-3 hours)
    • you are right after depilation (your skin may get irritated… and sting a little)

    But don’t worry, we also have wonderful therapeutic massage sessions. Choose one for yourself here.
